Homecare Workers

Holistic Health Services (HHS) are recruiting for Home Care Workers in the South Ribble, Chorley, and Preston areas. We are looking for dedicated health care workers, caring individuals who can provide effective person centred care and support to adults.

We support a growing number of clients who need a little extra support to enable them to live independently within their own homes for as long as possible.

The Care Workers role will involve:

  • To provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of illnesses and disabilities
  • Assist with dressing/undressing
  • Provide assistance with toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation, drinks and snack
  • Administration of Medications
  • General light house work
  • Shopping
  • Companionship

We offer :

  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent rates of pay ranging from £8 - £8.50 per hour
  • Full mandatory training and specialised in-house training provided free of charge
  • Opportunity to complete Diploma levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Up to 28 days paid annual leave

The successful Care Worker will have:

  • Caring and conscientious
  • Enthusiastic and reliable
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of care provision
  • Willingness to undergo training and supervision
  • All posts subject to an enhanced DBS check, and reference clearance
