Holistic Health Services is a Specialist service for Autistic Spectrum conditions and Sensory Impairments.
We provide support services to young people aged 0-18 years with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (otherwise known as ASC or ASD), including Asperger’s syndrome.
By recognising the diverse range of needs presented by people with Autism and the challenges they face in everyday life, our specialist Autism care services have been designed to provide person-centred, flexible and creative solutions to young people who have often struggled to cope in previous settings.
All staff are trained in person-centred Autism specialist support and to ensure the least restrictive physical interventions are used all staff will be MAPA trained (management of actual and potential aggression). The support team is supervised by the house manager who has 9+ years of supporting individuals with Autism and other Autistic Spectrum Conditions and is trained in Autism Awareness, Sensory differences, Sensory strategies and positive behaviour support.
